VFW Post 3073 Ride Event

On May 22, 2021 the VFW Post 3073, Dothan, AL will be holding a Military Appreciation Day.  FOAA has been invited to provide rides for attendees.

Come out and experience Army Aviation heritage. Take a ride in a historic UH-1H helicopter—an experience you won’t forget!

We specialize in happy smiles so bring your family, neighbors, and friends and take a ride in a Huey helicopter. Children (2-15) may ride with some restrictions. All children 18 and younger must have their parent/guardian’s permission.

And Heck Yeah . . . we fly with the doors OPEN.

All minors under the age of 16 must ride with a parent or guardian. Children 16-17 may ride alone with parents/guardians written permission

• Online ticket purchases. Your ticket purchase will save you time by not having to stand in the Cashier line and by getting on the helicopter a bit sooner but will not be for a specific flight time. Online ticket purchases will be available closer to the event.
• Check flight times – Once you have your wristband and know your flight color, you can now check to see what time your flight will be taking off. If you decide to leave the site, we recommend you return no later than 1 hour prior to your flight time so you can get your Safety Briefing.
