Prattville Airport Ride Event

TICKETS AVAILABLE ONSITE TODAY!! On 5 March 2025, Friends of Army Aviation will be bringing our Vietnam Era UH-1 Huey to the Prattville, AL Municipal Airport for a limited ride event.  We will be flying from 1:30-4:30pm.  All proceeds will go to cover the cost of the Huey Flyby for the Alabama Legislature Softball Game to be held that evening.

We fly 10 passengers at a time on a first come, first fly basis! And remember…

We fly with the doors open!  Come and experience the SOUND OF FREEDOM!

Tickets may be purchased online in advance until 11pm on 4 March 2025.  Onsite tickets are available at the venue.  ALL riders should plan to arrive not later than 3PM. Late arrivals are not guaranteed a seat and may not be able to fly!

All minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied on the ride by a parent or legal guardian. Children 16-17 may ride alone with a parent or legal guardian’s written permission. We fly ages 2 and up with some restrictions.  Each rider must have their own seatbelt – no lapsitters!
