MVPA Ride Event

Friends of Army Aviation will be participating in the Military Vehicle Preservation Association (MVPA) event at Green Cove Springs, FL.  FOAA will be providing rides to participants at the event. Come out and experience Army Aviation heritage and hear the unmistakable Sound of Freedom.  And as always…

No ticket? No worries – we will have plenty of spaces available so come on out to Reynolds Airpark and take a ride.

We specialize in happy smiles so bring your family, neighbors, and friends and take a ride in a Huey helicopter. All minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied on the ride by a parent or legal guardian. Children 16-17 may ride alone with a parent or legal guardian’s written permission.

Helicopter ride tickets may be purchased either online or at the ride event.  Online tickets may be purchased up to 1 day prior to the event. At that point, online sales will not be available and will indicate that tickets are not available. However, tickets may still be purchased at the ride event.

• Onsite Tickets: Tickets may be purchased at the ride event using cash, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Please purchase your ticket not later than 2 hours prior to the published end of the event time.
• Online tickets: Tickets are good for 1 ride on 1 day of the ride event. Please plan to arrive no later than 1 PM to be processed for the ride.  Online ticket sales are not available the day of the ride event.
• Check flight times: Once you have been processed you will be given a color-coded wrist band along with a number (example Royal Blue 10). On our website, using the tab labeled “times” and you can check your flight schedule for your show time, briefing time and your flight takeoff time.  With this information we ask that you be at our designated briefing tent not later than 30 minutes prior to your scheduled briefing time. Please check our website “times” tab as the times are updated as flights takeoff.

Online ticket sales will not be available on the day of the event but plenty of seats are available at the event so please come out and join us.
