Cullman Veterans Ride Event

Friends of Army Aviation has been invited to Cullman, AL to conduct a ride event on November 4th, 2023.

Come Experience the Sound of Freedom… We fly with the doors open!

No ticket? No worries – we will have plenty of spaces available so come on out to the Cullman Regional Airport – Folsom Field, 231 Co Rd 1360, Vinemont, AL  and take a ride.

We specialize in happy smiles so bring your family, neighbors, and friends and take a ride in a Huey helicopter. All minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied on the ride by a parent or legal guardian. Children 16-17 may ride alone with a parent or legal guardian’s written permission.

Helicopter ride tickets may be purchased either online or at the ride event.  Online tickets may be purchased up to 1 day prior to the event. After this point online sales will not be available and will indicate that tickets are not available. However, tickets may still be purchased at the ride event.

• Onsite Tickets: Tickets may be purchased at the ride event using cash or credit card. Please purchase your ticket not less than 2 hours prior to the published end of the event time.
• Online tickets: Purchasing online does not have an assigned time or seat.  Tickets are good for 1 ride on 1 day of the ride event. Please plan to arrive not later than 2 pm to be processed for the ride. Online ticket sales are not available the day of the ride event.
• Check flight times: Once you have been processed you will be given a color-coded wrist band along with a number (example Royal Blue 10). On our website, using the tab labeled “times” and you can check your flight schedule for your show time, briefing time and your flight takeoff time. With this information we ask that you be at our designated briefing tent not less than 30 minutes prior to your scheduled briefing time. Please check our website “times” tab to check on updated takeoff times.

November 4th from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM CDT – The aircraft will remain onsite for rides based on demand.  The event is subject to end earlier than 3pm if there is no interest from the community.

Online ticket sales are not available on the day of the event but plenty of seats are available at the event so please come out and join us.
